American Business Council
The American Business Council in Dubai (ABC Dubai), also known as AmCham Dubai, was the first bilateral trade organization established in the UAE and operates under the local patronage of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. ABC Dubai is an international affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.
ABC Dubai represents the business & commercial interests of industries, corporations and individual professional members.
The Council’s membership is comprised of American Fortune 500 companies, SMEs, large and small UAE organizations, and well as American and Emirati professionals from all sectors of business and industry – all accepted after review of eligibility based upon membership qualification criteria.
ABC Dubai organizes the business community in partnership with public and private sector leaders and other stakeholders from the US, the local region, and internationally. ABC Dubai’s key mission is to strengthen commercial ties between the US and the UAE, and offer exceptional value and corporate support services to its members.
Australian Business Council
The Australian Business Council Dubai ABCD is a non-profit organisation with a broad objective: to provide a networking forum for all ABCD members to develop their business activities and to promote trade and other beneficial relationships between Australia and the region.
ABIG was originally conceived in 1993 as an outcome of gathering together various Australian businessmen at informal lunches and networking events.
A significant increase in the Australian business community, coupled with an increasing demand for a wider range of networking opportunities and the need for an organisation to represent the needs and views of the Australian business community prompted the formation of a volunteer committee. The new committee met at an inaugural meeting on 31st August 1994.
In the intervening years, ABCD grew from strength to strength with membership increasing each year.
Membership currently totals over 900 and after a recent constitutional change the categories of membership were opened up to accommodate the diverse environment facing Australian citizens and companies in the region. Membership is open to local branches of Australian companies, agents of Australian companies, companies or individuals who have business relationships with Australia, Australian citizens working in the Gulf, Alumni of Australian Universities in Dubai and Emirati companies.
Austrian Business Council
Austria is an important member of the European Union and is located in southern Central Europe in the very heart of Europe. Austria has common borders with eight other countries: Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
As one of the most prosperous EU member states Austria is politically as well as economically connected with the United Arab Emirates since its creation in the 1970ies. Austrian engineers and companies have contributed greatly to the large infrastructure developments in the UAE. As a result of this commitment more than 180 companies from Austria are operating in the UAE. This group forms the basis of the Austrian Business Council UAE and was established under the patronage of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in June 2008
Belgian Business Council
The Belgian Business council idea was created in 2008 by Wim Bonjean. In co-operation with the Trade Commissioners of FIT and AWEX and the Belgian Embassy, a common ground was found and the stage for the Belgian Business Council was set. The team started to work on a platform for Belgian related Business Networking. It was only in July 2011, with the support of the Belgian Embassy, the BBC obtained its license and became an official organization, moving towards growing its networking platform and services to its members. Since the Belgian business council has progressed and is now an active platform with the business community in Dubai.
British Business Group
Currently, one of the largest and most active business groups in the GCC, the British Business Group Dubai & Northern Emirates (BBG) operates under the auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and is closely aligned to the UAE office of UKTI (UK Trade and Investment).
With a membership of more than 2000 individuals representing more than 400 companies, one of the group's prime objectives is communication with:
Businessmen and women in the UAE and UK;
Policy-makers and decision-makers in government and business in UK and UAE;
The UAE leadership and influencers;
Other British business groups.
Founded in 1987, the BBG is led by a pro-bono committee of 12 annually elected members, each of whom oversees different aspects of the workings of the group.
Canadian Business Council
The Canadian Business Council assists Canadian-related companies and professionals establishing or operating/working in Dubai and the UAE, through business networking and connections, information exchange, and a continued connection to Canada.
As one of the largest and most active UAE business councils and the biggest Canadian business council in the MENA region, CBC offers members the opportunity to build their business and government networks and also maintain a strong connection to Canada, through events, member discounts and other benefits and supports. It also offers sponsors an opportunity to access and connect with a substantial number of Canadian professionals and their networks.
With more than 500 members, CBC is enjoying its largest membership numbers since inception and is continuing to grow.CBC members represent a variety of industries, offering members the opportunity to make inroads in more than 25 business sectors. Czech Business Council
Czech Business Council was established in 2015 as a non-profit association of Czech businessmen and professionals active in the United Arab Emirates and is licensed under regulations of Dubai Chamber. The main goal of CBC is to create a platform and background for meetings of Czech companies active in the UAE, to create favourable conditions for sharing information and experiences that are vital for doing business in the UAE, to support Czech companies that are to enter the UAE market, to help develop bilateral business and cultural relations, economic activities, investments and other initiatives between the Czech Republic and the UAE, to organize events and to host delegations to promote image of the Czech Republic in the UAE in cooperation with Czech Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic and Czech Trade.
Danish Business Council
Danish Business Council Dubai (DBCD) was established in 2004
as a non-profit organization under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber.
We aim to provide a platform for our members to network, encourage and
promote business links between likeminded business men & women in the UAE.
DBCD undertakes a wide range of activities with the objective to enhance business
prospects and expose the Danish business. We work closely with
the Royal Danish Consulate General and the Trade Council, Dubai.

Founded in 2004, Finnish Business Council in the UAE is going through an era of strong development. We support the government launched Team Finland initiative and are a part of the global FinnCham network. Locally we are facilitated by the Dubai Chamber as part of their Business Council and Business Group network

Hellenic Business Council
On March 2010 the Hellenic Business Council was founded, under license from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the support of the Embassy of Greece in Abu Dhabi.
The HBC is a private initiative that exists for the benefit of the Greek community in the UAE and thrives through the active participation of its members.
Its constitution enshrines the core objectives of the council which essentially are:
- to provide a presence of the Greek community in Dubai;
- to provide a networking forum for members to interact with fellow Greek professionals as well as members of other business councils;
- and to represent the interests of the Greek community in Dubai to the local and Greek authorities.

Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC), Dubai is the only recognised representative organisation of Indian Business and Professionals in Dubai.
IBPC, Dubai was formed in the year 2003 after the unification of the three Indian business organisations in Dubai namely the Indian Business Council (IBC), Overseas Indians Economic Forum (OIEF) and Business & Professional Club (BPC).
This new unified body was formed mainly to represent the Indian business and professional community in Dubai with all the activities of the three organizations conducted under the new banner. This formation of a single entity was in the larger interest of the Indian business community in Dubai to help better co-ordination of activities.

Netherlands Business Council
Established in 1997 by the Dutch Consulate and a group of prominent Dutch businessmen, the, NBC provides its members with a permanent platform for professional networking and - more in particular - the enhancement of business links with likeminded entrepreneurs, professionals and business councils
in Dubai, the Northern Emirates and the GCC at large. To this end, the NBC undertakes a wide range of monthly activities managing to entertain, inform and connect its members with each other and with interested third parties from around the region.
Organized as a non-profit association under Dubai law and working under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the NBC is recognized by the UAE authorities as the representative body of Dutch entrepreneurs and professionals active in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Whilst operationally independent and financially self-sufficient from the outset, the NBC has experienced significant growth over the last decade. From a handful pioneering entrepreneurs and career expatriates, the NBC has grown into a body of roughly 200 entrepreneurs, managers and executives in a large variety of industries. Many of them consistently frequent the NBC’s 30+ events
throughout the year.
Philippines Business Council
The Philippine Business Council of Dubai (PBC Dubai), a non-profit organization established in 2001 under the patronage of the Embassy of the Philippines and the Philippine Consulate General of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, is the only Filipino organization recognized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the esteemed role of facilitating business opportunities for the Filipino community and their commercial partners in the country.
Pakistan Business Council
The Pakistan Business Professional Council (PBPC) was established on December 26 2004 and was inaugurated by President of Pakistan on June 6, 2005 at Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi - UAE.
The PBPC was the idea of leading corporate executives from Pakistan, living and working in the UAE, who envisioned the council providing a forum that would aid the promotion of commercial ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
Pakistan culturally, geographically and strategically enjoys very special ties with the UAE. With this in mind, it is the objective of the PBPC to further strengthen these ties through its membership and organised events. PBPC membership is open to all Pakistani business professionals and UAE companies having an interest in Pakistan.
Since its formation, the PBPC has participated in a number of conferences and exhibitions and over the coming years, the PBPC will concentrate its efforts on heightening awareness among the local community of Pakistani capabilities and investment potential.
Russian Business Council
The Russian Business Council (RBC) is a non-profit association of companies, entrepreneurs, decision-makers and influencers that facilitates trade and mutual investments between Russia and Middle East & Africa region. It supports the investors to take advantage of the economic growth and opportunities in these emerging markets.
RBC is determined to be the bridge between Russia and the MEA, and is the only Russian business association in the region.
Singapore Business Council
The Singapore Business Council (SBC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and registered with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2016, it joined the ASEAN Business Councils Alliance (ABCA) together with the councils represented by the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Operating under the patronage of the Embassy of Singapore in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Dubai, the SBC and its activities are led by an Executive Committee (EXCO) consisting of Singaporean professionals based in the Emirates.
Currently there are more than 1,000 corporate, individual and affiliate members – membership profile spreads across a spectrum of sectors including logistics, law, finance, education, trading, architecture, engineering and other professional services. With an estimated 4,000 Singaporeans residing in the UAE, the SBC works closely with the Consulate-General to reach out to Singaporeans who would like to network with the various businesses and communities through the planned SBC events.
Membership is open to all Singapore companies and residents, as well as individuals or entities with professional or business ties with Singapore.

South African Business Council
SABCO was established as a voluntary, credible non-profit organisation in 2004 with the aim of providing a meeting and networking point of contact for business people who have an interest in, or business connection with South Africa and the UAE.
The council is run by a 12-member committee, comprising of leading South African business people, professionals and advisors from the South African Embassy in the UAE.
SABCO unites business partners by offering a networking and business development forum for business professionals with South African connections living and working in the UAE. Networking is a core objective and regular social and topical business-related functions are held to provide opportunities for members to interact in an informal yet professional setting.
The creation of SABCO as a single business organisation dedicated and committed to promoting business and trade between the two countries highlights the growing importance of the economic aspect in the overall relationship.
Spanish Business Council
The Spanish Business Council is a private non-profit organization whose aim is to establish a corporate platform to strengthen business and cultural ties between Spain and the United Arab Emirates, by linking Spanish companies to Emirati public and private entities.
It has been founded in 2005 and supported by the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Commercial Office in the UAE.
The Spanish Business Council gathers Spanish companies/individuals or foreign companies/individuals, which want to establish business relations in the United Arab Emirates.
Decisions are made by a Board of Directors, led by a chairman and two vice-chairmen, and carried out by an office coordinator.
Sri Lankan Business Council
The Sri Lankan Business Council in Dubai & Northern Emirates was formed in the year 1991 under the umbrella of the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai. Later it evolved into a registered Business Council under the auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the year 2004. .
SLBC has grown into an organisation consisting of Sri Lankan Entrepreneurs and Senior Professionals in the UAE as its Individual Members and a number of organisations interested in Sri Lankan business as it s Corporate Members.
SLBC consists of Business oriented people coming together for the betterment of the Business of its members living in Dubai and Northern Emirates of the UAE. It is an organisation to encourage the development of Sri Lankan & related businesses in the UAE and promotion of Sri Lanka as a Business Investment destination.
SLBC undertakes a wide range of activities from communicating with decision makers to sharing the best business practice and arranging networking events for its members. SLBC is also involved in helping Sri Lankan Exporters to develop their network in the region with due advice drawn out of its experienced membership.

Swiss Business Council
The Swiss Business Council (SBC) is a non-profit organisation, licensed by the UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, and established in 1996.
It has independently managed branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Since its creation, it has successfully promoted the interests and activities of companies and individuals with connections between the UAE and Switzerland.
The SBC has an active and enthusiastic membership base, and is open for membership under individual and corporate categories for companies and individuals with business interests in the United Arab Emirates and / or Switzerland. To qualify for membership, companies and individuals should be able to demonstrate a clear business or cultural focus and interaction with Switzerland – either as a Swiss National, Swiss registered organization, or a local representative, agent or distributor of Swiss goods and services.
The SBC is a lively and stimulating forum of diverse interests and has a constantly expanding membership ranging from UAE National corporations through Swiss multinationals to individual private members. The directory of members will provide an insight into the broad spectrum of activities undertaken by the council members.

The SBC is overseen by an Executive Committee (ExCom) whose responsibility is to organize a regular, diverse calendar of events and activities including presentations and dialogue with influential local and expatriate speakers, an introduction of new Swiss companies in the UAE, and discussion with representatives of the Swiss and UAE Governments. There are monthly social and networking events to stimulate the exchange of ideas and experiences among the membership.
Additionally, members receive updates and newsletters covering business, cultural and promotional activities in the UAE. The SBC interacts closely with the Swiss Embassy, the Swiss Consulate General Dubai and the Swiss Business Hub Dubai.

Turkish Business Council (TBC), established in 2004, is a non-profit organization, composed of companies and individuals.
